Just A Walk In The Park | Springtime Saturday

Sometimes the best days are unplanned. I've not been feeling myself the last few weeks and have been quite ill. Feeling slightly better, yesterday I attempted a boxcercise session and then proceeded to recover at home watching Spice World The Movie (totally still know all the dance moves!), baking a little something for an Easter post and watching the rabbits play in their castle.

I was lucky enough to have the lovely people of Brighton Bunch drop round one of their stunning, handpicked, locally sourced bouquets. If you follow me on instagram you'll know just how much of a flower addict I am. These are my ideal bunch, the Parrot Tulips along with the tiny wild roses give that 'just picked' feel and they really gave my weekend a boost! Plus if you're an addict like me, they even do a subscription service to deliver a seasonal hit of floral goodness weekly.

Once the football was over (luckily Man Untd won!) Tomás came round and we grabbed a few snacks and headed to a park instead. Being such a beautiful day in Brighton tends to leave hoards of tourists taking up the beach and so it was lovely to find the park full of only a few fellow picnickers and dog walkers.

The weather was just warm enough to shed our winter coats and thick knits and grab our shades! Spending time together in the sunshine, taking in the wildlife (cue Up like impressions every time we saw a 'SQUIREL!') and messing around taking 'fashion blogger' poses was genuinely the highlight of my week.

Hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day weekend and enjoyed some sunshine with someone you love!
