L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes & Shu Umera S Curler | Review

Hello my name is Lily and I have a mascara problem. I am forever telling my mum to go and buy my latest holy grail mascara, only for a few weeks later to hop on to another mascara bandwagon. Well Ladies and Gentlemen, I've now found my perfect eye combo for lashes that literally just go POW!

The L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Noir Excess Mascara has a long handled, plastic brush wand that really grips lashes and draws them up and out. I'm lucky enough to have rather long lashes but I never find a mascara that draws out their length whilst also thickening them up. Well this puppy actually does both. I find by the third coat it can get rather clumpy, so don't go too crazy because this packs so much punch you don't really need to layer a lot. 

Now where I find this mascara really excels is when I use it with my new Shu Umera S Curlers. I remember the day I first fell in love with Shu Umera Eyelash Curlers. I got the classic curlers a couple of years ago and they really are the best. However I found that with my eyes being quite big, I can never get the edge lashes properly. So when these gave up the dust I thought I'd try the S Curlers. Now I have a confession that, despite being a self-professed beauty nerd, I failed to notice my eyelash curlers cutting my lashes. As I said I got the classic curlers a couple of years ago and haven't changed the pads since. Leading them to wear through the pad and well essentially trim my lashes down. Not a mistake I'll make again!

Anyway back to the S Curlers! Now these are incredible. They get all the tiny lashes in the inner corner, right to the outer edge. They can even be used purely on the outside lashes for a cat eye look. An incredibly versatile tool that gives a long lasting curl.
